Dear All,

What I am looking for is a demonstration of login functionality written in VB.Net that uses Windows Identity Foundation. The functionality will eventually manage credentials of customers logging into a "site" hosted on the Windows Azure Platform. The site is actually a dedicated server application written in vb.net that will be running in an Azure VM. It will not be running in an Azure Web Role or using IIS. For the first demonstration, the client can be a windows forms application (again, vb.net) that connects to the server using http. Ultimately, I would like the login component to support Microsoft Logins as well as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. I am under the impression that Windows Identity Foundation supports this, but I have not seen examples of the code that actually accomplishes it.

I am using Windows Identity foundation 4.5. Any help will be appreciated.

WIF does not support social providers. You might want to check something like https://auth0.com

Here is a tutorial using wpf/winforms

Hello matiaswoloski,

Thanks a lot for your reply. I will check out the sample. Please let me know if there are any samples in which WIF 4.5 has been used to implement the login functionality using vb.net.
