Jul 3, 2010 at 2:01 PM

Anybody succeeded in upgrading thr solutions to VS 2010?

I tried to run on Win7 Ultimate, IIS7, VS 2010 Ultimate and got Conversion Wizard error that I have to install IIS6 Metabase and IIS6 Configuration Utility. However, there is IIS7 in requirements, If possible, could anyone upload upgraded version of samples?

Thanks!

We are working in this, but it will take a couple weeks. In the meantime if you want to explore similar samples (on VS2010) I'd suggest:

- The Identity Training Kit

- Our Windows Azure Arch. Guide -> http://wag.codeplex.com

Hi,

Thanks! I meanwhile partially succeeded in playing with the samples. Some hints for others:

- Install 'IIS6 Metabase and IIS6 Configuration Utility' feature of IIS (Control Panel/Programs and features)

- Start PowerShell and allow execution of remote signed scripts ("Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned") if not yet allowed

- Start CheckDependencies.cmd as Administrator - it is possible to install some of the features - you need at least to install certificates to allow SSL (https connections)

- Start VS 2010 as Administrator and open solutions - it should be now possible to convert all projects.
